Designed to express "mountain elegance", this custom home rests comfortably on its sloping site in Windcliff Estates. To further the feel of a turn-of-the century sophisticated mountain lodge, the architect used stone piers, horizontal siding, native moss rock, exposed ratfer tails, sandstone, and lots of glass to capture its mountain setting. Features of the Great Room include a stone fireplace, access to Dining and Master Bedroom decks, and the central view of Hallett's Peak and the Continental Divide. Completed in the spring of 2003, the owners were able to enjoy the entire Rocky Mountain summer.
